Hey Celadoneans!
In celebration of the Mooncake Festival and Confucius Day
(Faculty Appreciation Day), Celadon has fused two of the greatest Chinese traditions together in one project while reaching out to the Ateneo community: the Mid-Autumn Gratia. Yes, this is our biggest project for the first semester!
Kick off the festivities by voting for your favorite teachers and buying your tickets at the Doghouse from September 15-19, 2008. Your ticket serves as your voting ballot on Gratia Night (September 19, 4:30 pm onwards at the Leong Hall Roofdeck), where a participating organization of your choice (Kaingin, Kythe, Musmos, Speed, Tugon, and YFC) gets a chance to win the cultural showcase for their areas this coming Chinese New Year!
Expect a night of mystic and wonder as you witness the faculty awarding event, watch performances from students and faculty, play the traditional dice game with your teachers and newfound
friends, win big prizes, and at the same time help an area-based
organization benefit from a cultural showcase for this coming Chinese New Year.
Anticipate everything to happen under a night sky. Roll that dice, and let the celebrations begin!
And…
Because we want you all to be involved and join in the fun at the Doghouse, we have BANNED “tambay” in MVP208 for the week of September 15-19, 2008. Anybody caught hanging out in the room will be fined 50 pesos/hour. Proceeds of this will go to the Mid-Autumn Gratia Night fund.
Reasons why you should hang out in the Doghouse this September 15-19, 2008:
1. You’ll get to meet new Celafriends and take part in the success of Celadon’s BIGGEST project for the first semester.
2. There’s free photocopying going around. Yep, you heard that right. FREE.
3. It’s easier to purchase the Gratia Night ticket, Celadon shirt, and Faculty Trading Cards at the Doghouse!
4. You can read up on various organizations and their advocacies, and get to decide on Gratia night which org should benefit from the org advocacy campaigns!
5. Because it’s just so much fun!
See you there!
